Co-Op Tool Production Workholding, a Division of Hammill Manufacturing Company, offers precision craftsmanship and custom production workholding solutions for high-volume machining applications. Our experienced design team has developed thousands of unique tooling solutions for a variety of industries, including automotive, appliance, home construction, medical, aerospace, and more. Our specialties include production machining fixtures, custom chucks, complete automation systems, and custom tooling.

Since 1955, Co-Op Tool has been solving manufacturer challenges through expert engineering and precision craftsmanship. We offer a complete turnkey solution, from concept through the design and manufacturing stages. Our offering also includes after-the-sale technical service and support in the field. Currently, Co-Op Tool excels in precision grinding and tight tolerances for superior surface finishes.

All of our solutions are fully assembled, tested, and run off in-house, ensuring proper function, clamping sequence, and part position accuracy and repeatability. We also provide a complete engineering package and detailed part drawings and assembly drawings with all of our design projects. As perishable tooling items wear out in production, Co-Op Tool offers service and replacement parts, rebuild and reconditioning services, and continuous product improvements for our designs as well as our competitors’ designs.

We operate two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in greater Toledo (Ohio, USA). We offer a four-year journeyman apprenticeship program and college tuition reimbursement to encourage our crews to continue their education. We know our people must remain at the cutting edge of innovations in order to engineer high-quality parts and provide the service and solutions that manufacturing operations need when they need them.

Established in 2025, this new addition to Co-Op Tool Production Workholding was created to address the emerging energy market.
